LAUSD facilities are subject to a variety of health and safety requirements intended to ensure the health and safety of students and staff. All District facilities are required to implement an Injury & Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) dealing with workplace safety. The Office of Environmental Health and Safety (OEHS) has issued the IIPP Template (*.doc) to assist Site Administrators in the preparation of this required document. All Site Administrators are required to review and update their existing IIPPs consistent with the OEHS IIPP Template. In addition, OEHS has developed an IIPP Training (PowerPoint) to assist Site Administrators in providing the required training to their staff.
